Today's featured bird is Heather. Heather was built with clear and coloured fused glass that was kiln fired to form her into shape.
The light lavender, mid purple and olive green glass was taken from up-cycled glass parts destined to be thrown away. Many of the coloured glass bits of the birds are from previous artists workshops. Heather's emerald green head and clear base and foot stand is taken from locally sourced glass shop.
Wee Heather is today's star. I dearly hope you like this purple and green little character.
